Indigenous people in Sudan face many
challenges that are deeply rooted in historical, social, and economic factors.these include :
1- The Land Rights and Displacement, Indigenous communities experience land dispossession due to continuous conflicts in Sudan , also agricultural expansion, mining, and infrastructure development. This leads to displacement and loss of traditional livelihoods , beside :
2-Cultural Erasure
3- Marginalization and Political Exclusion ,
4- Access to Basic Services Many indigenous communities struggle with inadequate access to healthcare, education, and clean water. This lead to a of cycles of poverty and limit development opportunities.
5- Environmental Degradation Many indigenous communities depend on natural resources for their livelihoods. Environmental degradation from conflicts industrial activities and climate change cause significant threats to their way of life.
